The Radstädter Tauern (Obertauern) is inextricably linked and deeply rooted with the name Lürzer.
An accommodation business since 1980
Around 45 years ago, Helga & Bernhard Lürzer started renting out guest rooms. It all started with a small bed and breakfast, and over the decades the company has developed steadily. Nowadays in the 2nd generation, the two siblings Daniela & Bernhard-Sebastian run the company together and established the ALPHAtauern health resort.
Pioneer spirit
Helga and Bernhard Lürzer Sr. at the end of the 80s. The bed and breakfast with 20 guest beds was built in 1980.
Renovations and modernizations took place almost every year. This means they have kept pace with the upswing in the region. In the mid-90s, the expansion to 96 guest beds, a sauna area and a general expansion of the general areas.
In the 2000s, there were ongoing additions to the restaurant, a company garage, ski cellar and storage rooms.
Family coat of arms
In 1506, King Maximilian I granted the family coat of arms to the noble family.
